The Grand Loop, on your lodge at Blanding Ut Hotels, will start you from Blanding, the first visit being a 1/2 mile hike to Butler Wash Ruins, and amazing display of ruins as well as an ancient worship site. The next stop from Blanding Ut Hotels will be a journey to Mule Canyon Ruins, a display of ruin walls along with a worship site dating archeologically back to late Book of Mormon times, about 300 to 400AD. After that, you will visit Natural Bridges National Monument where you will discover first hand the second largest natural bridge on the planet, spanning almost 400 feet. Natural Bridges is really a top place in the world for night sky viewing and is on the world registry. Proceed along the Moqui Dugway, dropping 1100 feet with amazing views of Monument Valley, then, on to Goosenecks State Park. Amazing Visit to Southeastern Utah!

To schedule your visit in Southeastern Utah, Blanding Ut. Hotels will place you in the center of 40 National and State Parks, Monuments, Ruin Sites and Petroglyph Sites!

An amazing itinerary for your stay at Blanding Ut Hotels is on day 1, visit Arches National Park and visit the Delicate Arch. If your day ends early you may want to include a hike also to Corona Arch. Wilson Arch is a great stop along the highway for a short 20-minute stop.

On Day 2 you will most definitely want to visit Natural Bridges National Monument. There are 3 major natural bridges, including the second largest bridge in the world. You can view each bridge from it's overlook site, you can hike to each bridge, or take the Grand Hike and do all three bridges. Natural Bridges and Hovenweep will also be listed in the top 15 sites in the world for Night Sky Viewing.

On day 3, from Blanding Ut Hotels, you will most assuredly take a motor car trip to see the
Grande Loop. You will start from Blanding Ut Hotels in the Blanding Utah area and travel west on Highway 95, stopping at Mule Canyon Ruins Site. If you haven't yet seen Natural Bridges you will want to drive thru there and stop at each of the 3 overlooks. You will then continue south on Highway 261, stopping and doing a short hike at Muley Point Overlook, where you can see monuments in 4 states: Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. You will then continue south on 261 down the Moki Dugway, an incredible pass going from the upper mesa to the lower mesa, a drop of over 1100 feet. When you reach the bottom, you have the option of traveling thru the Valley of the Gods or Goosenecks State Park. Each are amazing and unique. As you leave Goosenecks, you will see Mexican Hat Rock, a mega ton rock balanced on its perch on another rock pillar, and is in the shape of a Mexican Sombrero. Your next stop will be in Bluff at Bluff Fort. The early Mormon Pioneers braved the fierce and rugged terrain of Canyonlands area to settle the first mission here. You can see many of the re-enactment videos and their first settlement here at Bluff Fort.

You must now be ready for a delicious dinner; and we invite you to join us for dinner at the Twin Rocks Cafe in Bluff, and I personally recommend the Sheepherders Sandwich  with extra, extra honey mustard sauce for both the salad and the sandwich, and save room for their delicious caramel fried ice cream. You will then return to Blanding Ut. Hotels for the best night of your stay in your private cabin in the trees with a full kitchen and all the amenities you could want.
