The Great Vacation in Utah!

To organize your trip to Southeastern Utah will land you in the heart of 40 Monuments, Parks, Ruin and Petroglyph Sites!

The Grand Loop, on your lodge at Blanding Ut Hotels, will start you from Blanding, the first visit being a 1/2 mile hike to Butler Wash Ruins, and amazing display of ruins as well as an ancient worship site. The next stop from Blanding Ut Hotels will be a journey to Mule Canyon Ruins, a display of ruin walls along with a worship site dating archeologically back to late Book of Mormon times, about 300 to 400AD. After that, you will visit Natural Bridges National Monument where you will discover first hand the second largest natural bridge on the planet, spanning almost 400 feet. Natural Bridges is really a top place in the world for night sky viewing and is on the world registry. You'll then proceed south from Blanding UT Hotels on highway 261 to Muley Point Overlook where you will see into 4 states. Proceed along the Moqui Dugway, dropping 1100 feet with amazing views of Monument Valley, then, on to Goosenecks State Park. After leaving Goosenecks, you will notice the famous Mexican Hat Rock, as found in the Walt Disney animated movie, "Cars." The town of Mexican Hat is Radiator Springs in the movie.

After that, you will travel East on Highway 163 for the original town of Bluff Utah, settled by the Mormon "Hole in the Rock" Pioneers. You will visit Bluff Fort and tour the Visitors Center, watching the movies of the re-creation of driving horse drawn wagons over the most treacherous and rough terrain in all of North America. For the children, there's a scavenger hunt through all of the cabin sites, and upon completion are awarded a bag of polished native rocks. It's now dinner time and you'll wish to join us for dinner at Dukes Bistro or the Twin Rocks Cafe before traveling back to your cabin at Blanding Ut Hotels.

You'll now go back to Blanding Ut Hotels for a great night stay in your private cabin, hanging out by the campfire in the trees with a full kitchen and all the amenities you may want.
